General Electric developing additive process

June 2, 2011—GE Global Research, the R&D arm of the General Electric Co., recently posted a video offering a brief overview demonstrating its efforts to develop additive manufacturing processes. The video (below) shows the process that reportedly will reduce hours from the manufacturing process for ultrasound transducers.
