Indo-MIM to form medical device firm

Nov. 10, 2011—Indo-MIM, a metal-injection molding component maker headquartered in Bangalore, India, recently announced plans to form Indo-Med in a move to separate the company's medical device contract manufacturing services into one "highly focused company," a company news release recently reported.

John Gaspervich, past president of Indo-MIM, has been named president of Indo-Med and has established corporate offices in San Francisco with large scale manufacturing systems in Bangalore, India.

“We are truly excited about the opportunity to better serve the medical device industry," Gaspervich said. "As a step on our path in doing so we look forward to exploring potential acquisitions and partnering candidates to complement our new company and its strategic directives.”
