Kugler offers ultraprecision machines, parts-making services

March 8, 2011—"Precision in a new dimension" is the Kugler Group's motto—and the principle underlying the products and services it offers.

The company, which is headquartered in Germany and has an office in Somers, Conn. (Kugler of America Ltd.), builds ultraprecision microprocessing centers, flycutting machines, laser micromachining centers and drum lathes.

The company's job shop performs ultraprecision machining of optics and medical devices (see video below), multi-axis micromachining at speeds up to 200,000 rpm, laser micromachining and precision assembly.
