Rush Wheel Truing & Dressing Machines

Ideal for tool manufacturers and grinding wheel manufacturers and production grinding facilities, the economical Rush Wheel Truing and Dressing Machines are designed for the truing and dressing of flats, angles and radii on diamond and CBN single wheels and multiple wheel packs.  The machines are simple to operate, highly accurate, and cost effective.  The customized, easy to use, ExVision video software makes high-tolerence truing and dressing easier than ever before and ensures accurate generation of wheel forms.  The ExVision software program is specifically configured for the wheel truing and dressing machines and their various applications. 
 
Fully enclosed slides and ways result in minimal wear for long machine life.  The solid cast iron base provides rigid, vibration-free wheel forming.  Available wheels range from 10" to 42" diameter to meet every application’s size requirement.  Conveniently located controls allow speed and efficiency when dressing wheels.  A digital angle reader for pivot axis with 0.03 degree increments is standard.  All slides have linear ways and ball screws and are fully enclosed.
 
Options include an AZP (Auotmatic Zoom Positioning) computer controlled 2-axis slide for camera positioning, an automated version with PLC and servo control for truing wheel infeed and pivot axes, a dust collection system, and quick-change spindle adapters for most CNC and manual grinders. 

Rush Grinding Fluid Filtration System

Ideal for the grinding, honing and lapping industries, the Grinding Fluid Filtration System is a high performance filtration system that utilizes edge filtration technology and balanced clean and dirty fluid tank sizes to ensure separation of clean and ditrty fluid during automatic regeneration.  Unlike other systems, this system can filter either oil or water  resulting in a high degree of filtration with minimal customer maintenance.  For use with carbide, HSS, stainless steel and other materials the Rush system  allows reclamation of high value materials.
 
Single and multiple pump configurations are available for clean fluid delivery and make the system highly flexibile to meet customers' requirements.  For dirty fluid handling, the system uses seal-less cast iron filter pumps that extend pump life.
 
Rush Machinery offers customized systems designed for specific machines and shop floor layout.  Single and multiple machine and centralized configurations are available.  All pneumatic and electrical controls are housed in conveniently located enclosures.  Grinding Fluid Filtration System options include pre-filters for removing steel swarf when filtering steel or a mix of carbide and steel, as well as a selection of large capacity cooling systems made specifically for oil or water.

Rush “Auto-Cut” CNC Carbide Rod Cut-Off Machine

The Carbide Rod Cut-Off Machine gives tool manufacturers and carbide rod processors the capability to automatically cut carbide rod into precision lengths.  Because the machine automatically loads and cuts rod, it is ideal for for unattended operation.  Unlike other cut-off machines, this machine offers full enclosure of the work area and a flood coolant system.
              
To accommodate long production runs, the machine features a large capacity magazine with an automatic loader.  A wide variety of  length/cut combinations are possible.  Parameters can be quickly set for rod diameter and length with easy-to-use CNC controls featuring a touch screen operator interface.  An optical edge detection system monitors and compensates for wheel wear.
 
Diameter capacity from .55" to 1-9/16", a 5.5 hp spindle motor, and the flood coolant system are standard on the Carbide Rod Cut-Off Machine.  An fire supression system for use with oils is optional.
