Default New benchtop vibration isolation system

Kinetic Systems Inc.'s new portable benchtop vibration isolation system, the ELpF (Ergonomic Low-Profile-Format) platform, can provide vibration isolation for sensitive devices.

It features a profile of 3" high nom., has a 16"-wide x 19"-long tapletop and weighs 40 lbs. With a load capacity of 100 lbs. (an alternative model can accomodate 300 lbs.), it is designed for use in laboratories and Class 100 cleanrooms for supporting atomic force microscopes, microhardness testers, analytical balances, profilometers and audio equipment.

Self-leveling and active-air isolation give the platform low natural frequencies (1.75 Hz vertical, 2.0 Hz horizontal) and typical isolation efficiencies of 95 percent (vertical) and 92 percent (horizontal) at 10 Hz.
